Who are the members of Heartland Classics Chapter?
The Heartland Classics Chapter is for those who love and care for antique and classic boats in America’s Heartland. Members mainly reside in five core states, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, but there are also active members from all of the adjoining states.
What are we about?
Four main events each year are worth the trips that may be up to 500 miles long just within our own Heartland Classics Chapter region. A Winter Restoration Workshop is always held in February, a spring “Kick Off the Season” event is held in April near Hot Springs, Arkansas, a June fun cruisin’ event centered around Table Rock Lake in Missouri, and finally, a judged show at Grand Lake in Oklahoma in September. During alternate years, one day rendezvous are planned or a major river cruise.
What keeps us together as a chapter?
Though the members of Heartland Classics Chapter are spread over a great distance, communication keeps everyone in the know. The award-winning chapter publication Mahogany & Chrome is mailed on a quarterly basis. We also actively maintain our own website at heartland-classics.org.
We know that getting into classic boating can be a little daunting.
